Sight glasses are used in piping systems where it is necessary to observe the product flow. Sight glass allow operators to observe the fluid flow direction, approximate rate of flow and condition of process fluids. Sight glasses should be designed to provide clear, continuous and unobstructed visibility of processes or products in piping, tanks or vessels.
Sight glasses are divided into round, square, rectangular sight glasses
by their shape and according to different structures, sight glasses are
divided lined/non lined sight glass , sight glass with neck, sight glass
with hood, double window/single window, insulated sight glass, sight
glass with scrapers, sight glass with flushing device and suitable for
sight glasses for powdered materials. Sight glass connection can be
flanged, thread and welding.

Full view sight glass is an 360 degree view flow indicators which is suitable for low pressure applications, moderate flow rates and where maximum visibility is required. The full view sight glass are available with different glass lengths. Its main component is a glass tube of design length, which will stand the max working temperature, pressure. with both ends fixed by carbon steel or stainless steel. The connection method can be flange connection, welding connection, thread connection and quick clamped connection.This type of sight flow indicators is not available in mechanical strain situation.
